100% Hyssop Essential Oil
100% natural essential oil from Hyssop (Hyssopus officinalis) is used for immunity boosting purposes. It has proven its worth especially in times of colds in the diffuser for room scenting. The Hyssopoil loosens the mucus in pleurisy, bronchitis and coughs, relaxes, cleanses and regulates blood pressure, promotes digestion in gastrointestinal disorders and helps wounds to heal faster.
A number of health-promoting properties are ascribed to the ingredients of high-quality hyssop oil. Our essential oil of highest quality has pronounced antibacterial, antiviral and antifungal properties. As a remedy, it is primarily in the foreground for diseases of the respiratory tract.
Hyssopus officinalis has a high content of monoterpene ketones and is therefore strongly antibacterial against staphylococci and pneumococci. Especially in the case of diseases of the respiratory tract, the oil shows its pronounced mucus-thinning and bactericidal properties.
The hyssop essential oil helps with sinusitis, bronchitis and cystitis when rubbed in, with inhalation or as a bath. It also helps with non-allergic asthma.
Monoterpenes of the hyssop essential oil such as beta-pinene have analgesic, warming and anti-inflammatory effects. They have a very positive effect on the autonomic nervous system, especially the smooth muscle tissues of the various organ systems (kidneys and gastrointestinal tract). The spasmolytic properties of the oil serve the gastrointestinal tract in cases of bloating and flatulence. The cortisone-like effect of the oil has a positive effect on adrenal activity.
In addition, hyssop oil is effective for the liver and useful for mild liver insufficiency, hepatitis and poor digestion.
On the physical level, hyssop oil has an epithelializing and granulation-promoting effect. This promotes the repair mechanism of the skin cells as well as the wound healing.
Sespuiterpenols in hyssop oil are immune-stimulating and activate the body's own defenses and have a positive effect on the hormonal balance. They have good skin-regenerating properties and have already proven themselves in a number of skin diseases.
On the psychological level, hyssop oil stands for wisdom and inspiration. In the fragrance lamp or diffuser, the scent of hyssop has a mood-enhancing and anxiety-relieving effect, it improves concentration during intellectual work and promotes creativity and logical thinking. Hyssop oil has a positive effect on the neurotransmitters acetylcholine and serotonin.
In aromatherapy, hyssop essential oil is used for nervous depression and anxiety because of its neurotonic and generally stimulating properties.
Larger amounts of hyssop are toxic, so you should not use the oil during pregnancy, in epilepsy, but also not in high blood pressure. It should also be kept away from children.
WARNING Essential oils are highly concentrated natural substances and should be treated with respect and caution. Keep out of reach of children. During pregnancy consult your doctor before use. Do not apply to inner ear, eyes or other sensitive parts of your body.
