Mental effects and applications
Tension, stress, fatigue and reduced concentration
• Diffuser: Add 3-5 drops sage oil for 15 m².
• Bathtub: mix 3-5 drops of essential sage oil with emulsifier (honey, milk, sea salt, cream, salt) to the water in the tub and stir vigorously.
• Body massage oil: mix 15 drops of oil with 50 ml rose-hip base oil.
Physical effects and applications
Cough, bronchitis, colds
• Cold inhalation: use 1-2 drops on a handkerchief and inhale 5-10 minutes / 2-3 times a day.
• Inhalation: mix 1 tablespoon of honey with 5-6 drops of essential oil and add to 1/2 liters of boiling water. The inhalation can be repeated up to 4 times per day depending on the intensity of the symptoms.
Laryngitis, sore throat, tonsillitis, gum bleeding, inflammation of the tooth nerve
• Gargle: use half a teaspoon of baking powder and half a teaspoon of honey and 4 drops of sage oil in a glass with sufficiently warm water.
Rheumatism, muscle and joint pain
• Compress: mix 15 drops of essential oil with warm water. Place a small cotton cloth in the water. Wring it out and put it on the wounded area.
• Body massage oil: Mix 5 drops of essential oil with 20 ml rosehip base oil. Indigestion and stomach cramps
• Body oil: Add 1-2 drops of this oil to some rose-hip base oil and massage the stomach.
Cellulite
• Massage: mix 2-3 drops of sage oil with 1 tablespoon rosehip oil and rub the cellulite affected areas 2-3 times a day.
Hair loss
• External application: add 4 drops of essential oil to a mild shampoo and use regularly in normal hair wash.
• Mask against hair loss: 3-4 drops of essential sage oil and 3-4 drops of essential basil oil are added to some olive oil, rubbed in and should be left as long as possible before washing.
• Mask against hair loss and dandruff: mix 3-4 tablespoons rose-hip oil with 3 drops of sage oil and a teaspoon of liquid honey and leave as long as possible before hair wash.
